The antimicrobial penetration tester is used to test the penetration resistance of the filter material to the particles carrying bacteria.

During the test, place the sample in the test container. Prepare 6 samples and 6 test containers, one of which keeps the sample uncontaminated as a control sample. The remaining 5 samples were perfused with talc mixed with Bacillus subtilis. Insert a precipitation plate at the bottom of each container so that it is within the shortest distance directly under the sample.

The equipment supporting the container is vibrated by a pneumatic ball vibrator. The talc powder penetrates the sample during vibration and falls on the precipitation plate. Remove the precipitation plate and place it in the incubator. The number of colonies produced by the test.
