The aerosol bacteria retention tester is used to test the ability of protective clothing materials to resist the penetration of aerosols carrying bacteria under certain environmental conditions.

Spray the solution with microorganisms into a box and evacuate with negative pressure to collect the droplets with microorganism aerosol onto two membrane filters. One of the membrane filters is wrapped in protective clothing material. The ratio of bacteria collected on the membrane filter, both wrapped and unwrapped, was used as an evaluation of the filtration performance of protective clothing materials.

Scope of application: protective clothing and protective clothing materials (not necessarily suitable for protective clothing materials with thick linings and easy to absorb liquids).
