Awkwardly Shaped Samples: Users can measure irregular or awkwardly shaped samples by simply removing the sample-holding assembly, making the process quick and flexible.

Liquids and Clear Films: An optional transmission chamber with dedicated accessories allows users to measure the transmittance of liquids and thin clear films. The design provides stable sample positioning for reliable and repeatable results.

Food Products: The vertical mounting arrangement makes it easy to measure pulps, juices, and concentrates, ensuring precise readings even for semi-liquid or viscous food samples.

Fluorescent Dyes and Pigments: Fluorescent samples typically absorb light in one part of the visible spectrum and emit it in another. To study such materials effectively, users must eliminate radiation below a specific wavelength within the visible range. The spectrophotometer offers optional visible filters that cut off unwanted radiation in controlled wavelength steps. These filters attach easily in place of the UV filter.

For example, a 460 nm filter blocks all wavelengths below 460 nm and passes light between 460 nm and 740 nm, allowing accurate analysis of fluorescent samples.

Measurement of optically brightened samples (Need to order extended wavelength range 360 nm to 730 nm):

• This is possible because of the provision of a UV cut-off filter.
• Photometric range is 0 to 200% reflectance.
• Measurement at 360 nm makes the study of optical brightening agent more useful.
