Pneumatic Bursting Strength Tester
Application
Pneumatic Bursting Strength Tester is used for measuring the burst strength and burst expansion of knitted fabrics, woven fabrics, non-woven fabrics, and laminated fabrics, as well as various fabrics manufactured by other processes. The existing experimental results indicate that there is no significant difference in the bursting strength results obtained by using hydraulic and pneumatic driving methods when the pressure does not exceed 800kPa. This pressure includes the performance level of most ordinary clothing. For special textiles that require higher bursting pressure, it is recommended to use hydraulic method.
Standards Compliant
GB/T 7742.2, ISO 13938-2, etc
Features
- It adopts an industrial-grade 7-inch color touch screen for display and operation control, with a user-friendly interface that supports both Chinese and English languages.
- The expansion height is measured using non-contact laser ranging technology, ensuring high accuracy and reliability.
- It offers four pressurization methods: timed, constant speed, constant pressure, and constant expansion, meeting diverse industry requirements.
- The units for bursting strength (kPa, bar, psi) and height (mm, cm, inch) are selectable to comply with different standards.
- Equipped with various sample holders and an automatic recognition function for fixtures, it ensures versatility.
- The pneumatic gripper clamps the sample using a slow pressing method to prevent damage or slippage.
- It includes safety features like pressure over-range protection and a high-transparency organic glass cover with LED lighting for clear observation.
- The tester also supports storing experimental data and printing test reports via a micro thermal paper printer.
