Significantly reduced sample preparation
It’s easy to start collecting data – simply pour the sample into the bottle, add nitrification inhibitor and place the sensor head on the bottle.

Users do not need to be present after starting the test
Measurements are taken automatically at regular intervals, stored and can be retrieved at will – no more weekend trips to the lab or plant!

Quick and easy interpretation of the measured values
The results of a sample are displayed directly in mg/L BOD on the large, integrated display. The BOD curve is also displayed, making it easy to recognize and understand measurement data points and trends.
In addition, each sensor head has an integrated LED.
This allows the operator to visually determine which sample the data is being displayed for, reducing potential confusion or errors when visualizing sample data.

Consistent measurement conditions
The automatic start function ensures that all measurements are carried out at the same sample temperature.
When measurement conditions are consistent across readings, operators do not have to account for temperature or pressure skew results.

Sample identification and tracking
The BD 600 interface makes it easy to assign an identification code or sample name when setting up a new sample.
This helps to track a sample from the time of acquisition and ensures traceability during measurement.

Use the remote control
When using a thermostat cabinet with a glass door, users can use the supplied remote control to view the measurement data of a sample – without opening the door!
