Description

The In-Cabinet Exposure Condensation Chamber is designed according to ISO 6270-2 《Paints and varnishes – Determination of resistance to humidity – Part 2: Condensation (in-cabinet exposure with heated water reservoir)》. Unlike Part 1 “Continuous condensation,” this standard defines three cyclic programs—CH (constant-humidity condensation), AHT (alternating humidity and air temperature), and AT (alternating air temperature)—to simulate various humidity environments.

This method provides detailed insights into the corrosion degree and defect types of coatings under different environmental conditions. Compared to single-sided exposure in Part 1, this chamber introduces alternating humidity and air temperature cycles, making it ideal for evaluating paints’ anti-corrosion performance in real-world conditions.

Why Choose the In-Cabinet Exposure Condensation Chamber

The In-Cabinet Exposure Condensation Chamber ensures accurate, repeatable evaluation of coating resistance to humidity and environmental stress. Its programmable cycles—CH, AHT, and AT—allow engineers to simulate realistic weathering conditions, providing insights into corrosion levels, blistering, softening, or other coating defects. The automatic ventilator controls airflow for uniform condensation, while the water supply system maintains consistent moisture levels. Adjustable temperature and running times support flexible test design, and ceiling protection prevents overheating. The glass observation window allows continuous visual monitoring of specimens during testing. Compact yet robust, this chamber accommodates up to 20 standard test panels, ensuring efficient sample management. Ideal for coatings on metals, wood, and composite materials, it meets ISO standards for high-quality, industrial-grade corrosion testing.
