Technical features
- The high-performance Halo DB-20 02-beam UVVIS spectrometer simultaneously measures the analysis sample and the reference sample, ensuring stability, accuracy, and repeatability of the measurement results.
- Halo DB-20 02-beam UVVIS spectrometer with 1.5nm spectral slit width; meets European Pharmacopoeia standards
- The Halo DB-20 is equipped with a variety of measurement functions to meet a wide range of analytical requirements:
- Photometric function: efficient quantitative analysis with absorbance (A) or transmittance (T) measurement mode. Select simultaneous measurement at 1 to 6 different wavelengths (determine nucleic acid/protein ratio A260/A280) and set up standard curves up to 20 points with standard solutions of different concentrations.
- Real-time scanning: dynamic analysis over time from 1 minute to > 27 hours.
- Wavelength scanning: full spectrum scanning from 190 to 1100nm with 8 preset speeds from 10nm/min to 3600nm/min. Scan data is displayed as graph or data table, find negative peak/positive peak values.
- The light source uses halogen and D2 lamps, and the wavelength of the lamp can be selected from 325 to 370nm.
- Large 165 x 122mm liquid crystal display (LCD) with adjustable backlight, allowing clear display of measurement parameters, analysis results table, as well as graphs.
- The Halo DB-20 includes a GLP/GMP function that enables the device to evaluate its performance, including wavelength accuracy, repeatability, spectral width, baseline flatness, stability, and contamination. It automatically determines pass/fail status and prints a detailed assessment report.
- Allows to save on the machine 20 operating programs and 10 sets of analysis results data.
- The Halo DB-20 operates independently or connects to a PC for control using UV Detective software.
