Rain Tester

The Rain Tester evaluates a fabric’s water resistance and rain penetration performance under controlled conditions. It simulates rainfall at various intensities and temperatures to determine how effectively textiles resist water penetration.

Equipped with a touch-screen control system, the instrument automatically regulates water temperature, pressure, flow, and test duration. During testing, the operator mounts the fabric vertically on the specimen holder and places standard filter paper behind it to measure water absorption.

Rainwater tester is used to test the water resistance of the test specimen at the specified water temperature and the influence of rainwater of different intensities on the test specimen. The specimens are mounted vertically on the specimen holder and standard filter paper is placed on the pad behind the specimen to test the amount of water permeated into the specimen.
